I am a solution architect based in Berlin. I design the architecture of enterprise cloud platforms and lead it from target picture to production: API and domain boundaries, distributed systems, Kubernetes-based delivery, security and identity.
My work sits between business requirements and engineering reality. The output I care about is not a diagram but a system that is secure, operable and still maintainable years after launch, with every significant decision written down so the next architect sees why, not only what.
Alongside that work I founded Tarnbeck, my home for ideas, solutions and transformations.

Target architectures, bounded contexts and domain ownership, API contracts, and architecture decisions documented with their trade-offs, so they hold up under review and under load.

Platform design, delivery pipelines, observability and operational readiness: the part of a system that decides whether it can be run, not only built.

IAM and access models, security architecture and reviews for enterprise systems, with the threat model and the compliance requirements treated as design input rather than an afterthought.
How I work
- Correctness over speed. A design that is right later beats one that is fast now and wrong.
- Evidence over opinion. Measurements, documentation and prototypes decide, not seniority.
- Simple over clever. The simplest architecture that meets the requirements, and nothing speculative.
- Decisions written down. Every significant decision recorded with its alternatives, so the next architect sees why, not only what.
Tarnbeck
Alongside my architecture work I founded Tarnbeck, my Berlin-based home for ideas, solutions and transformations, built to support your evolution. Its first product is Markdown Companion, a Chrome extension that renders the Markdown produced by AI tools as a clean, readable document.
